Millbrook Projects is privately owned family business led by Douglas Forbes. Since entering the construction industry in 1998 Douglas has been active in construction, property development and the finance industry. Having completed a Construction Management degree from QUT, Douglas has worked both in Australia and the UK for tier one builders, developers and investment banks taking on senior roles in commercial management and project delivery in Europe, Africa and the Middle East .  Some highlight projects were the completion of a 23 storey office tower in the Brisbane CBD and the refurbishment of a tobacco factory into a trading floor for an investment bank in Geneva, Switzerland.  

Since returning home to Australia in 2013 Douglas has recognised the unique lifestyle Beerwah and the Sunshine Coast provides and the shortfall in town home  housing options available to those wanting to enjoy it.
